My first ever blog

Tuesday, September 28, 2010

I have been reading other sparkers blogs for a couple of months now and i really enjoy them. I don't reply to many of them but I do read a lot of them. I have never had the urge to write my own until now. It seems like it can be kind of therapeutic, so i'm going to give this a shot and see if it helps me.

I'm not having a very good eating day today. For some reason I want something sweet. I really think it's because i'm bored. I'm at work and there really isn't anything I can do about it right now. I went to the vending machine once and really wanted the Suzy Q's but i got twizzlers instead (i figured they were better calorie wise than the suzy q's) It really didn't hit the spot. I'm trying my not to go back to that darn machine. I still have 2 hours of work left. I'm not going to that machine again.

I am leaving for vacation Friday. October is our 20th wedding anniversary so we are taking a Carribean cruise. I'm really excited about that. We have never been on a vacation by ourselves before. We have never even spent a night in a hotel by ourselves before so this is a real treat.

I hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

Okay, I know this is an old blog, but I had to comment on it. :) I like blogging and I think it gets things off my chest about the whole journey we are on. I mean, in 'real life' I think sometimes people get a little....bored with my weight loss talk. But on here I love the support we get. And it feels good to just let somethings out. :)

Wow 20 years??? That is AWESOME!!!! My 7 year anniversary is on Monday and there are some days I think 'I can't imagine another year' but then other days it's like 'I can't believe it's already been 7 years feel's like yesterday.' haha. Congrats on your 20 year anniversary (late) and how was the cruise?? A get a way by yourself How ROMANTIC!!!! emoticon
