just an update

Monday my back was in a great deal of pain. I missed a lot of work that day. Tuesday my back didn't hurt at all and I thought that maybe it's the chair I use when working, so I took off during the day to go to a warehouse of office furniture to find a chair. They advertised ergonomic chairs for $39. I went "chair hopping" for about an hour trying out several different ones. I found one that was wonderful, but it was $80. Twice what I was able to pay, so I didn't end up getting anything. Since that took 2.5 hours out of my work day, I worked late that night. Wednesday was my bible study; another almost 3 hours out of my day. Worked late again. Last night when I was chatting w/my boss--who's also my best friend--he said he's praying that I will stick with a workout program. (He's also a personal trainer.) So, this morning my back was hurting a little and I went to the gym to do an hour of water walking. Came home w/my back hurting so much more. Is it not my chair, but perhaps the water walking that's causing the pain? Maybe it's a combination. I know I need to stretch more.
Last night I ate at Cici's pizza. Not a great place, but it's "all you can eat" for $5. and my roommate was hungry. I ate three pieces of their pizza--knowing I was adding tons of fat to my diet. When I added the calories/fat in SP I found that I was still at half of my calories for the day and still under the fat! I'd forgotten that I hadn't eat much earlier in the day. Yay!
