Thunder and lightning, oh my!

This week has been simply exhausting. I haven't been able to spark everything, but have been exercising through work and have been planning my meals more, but also have been getting take-out food (with healthy ingredients in mind)which I don't really know how to record in my nutrition. I think sweeping, lifting heavy things and cleaning windows counts as exercise:) But I am a bit lost when it comes to entering take-out items.

I have discovered a new cookbook called "The Urban Vegan" which has some really great recipes. Mushroom soup! Corn chowder! I love soup, and it's getting to be that time of year:)

I am considering joining the Y...it would be good to have a place where I can exercise and not think, I should clean and do laundry! I guess I just have to learn to tell that inner nag to be reasonable! Also, it is an alluring idea to socialize with nice people who are exercising around me. Joining the Y is looking better and better! Of course, there is the financial aspect which is a big part of a student's/my daily thinking.

What's up with that time of the month? I am amazed during 'that time' I gain 3-5 pounds. I wonder if other women have this problem. The hormonal fluctuations can wreak havoc on my internal power to battle cravings. (Sorry if this is TMI)

Okay, today is 30 day shred time. Maybe some yoga if there's room in the schedule:)

    I have the extra 5 weight gain, last month I freaked when I gained 5 lbs over night(stupid wii making me weight myself daily). Good luck with this week. It takes time to adjust to a new life. emoticon
