My intention was to do the 30 day shred for 30 days straight, but I didn't even have a regular workout routine in place. What was I thinking? Yes, for 6 days I stayed with it, and then I decided a break would be good. More realistically, I've been working out about 4 times a week. I want to get a pedometer and start tracking my daily steps and setting goals each day to walk more. My husband's cousin lost 150 lbs walking! My goal isn't just about weight loss, but healthy choices. It is healthy for me to work out, and it is healthy for me to take breaks. I am now doing something instead of being lazy, so with that I am proud. I do not feel as though I have failed at my first challenge, because it has caused me to be realistic and to set some new health goals for myself and my family! Hoo-ray for us!
