Week 3 WIN Challenge Blog Entry

Well, I am tired of saying that I am going to do something and not stick by it. Year by year goes by and I say "well I want to be thin by ..." and I never accomplish it. The timeframe rolls by and I say, "well if I would have stuck to my goals and not given up, I would be super thin by now."

I went to valley fair yesterday and had trouble fitting into the roller coasters, that is embarrassing. I don't want to be that person anymore. This is starting to get depressing!

The only way I can fix it, is to actually stick to a plan. My problem is sleeping in to late! Then I have no time to properly start my diet for the day.

    Take one day at a time
    Be done with the day at bedtime you cannot change what has happened
    Start a new day in the morning with new attitude dedication and determination

    I agree with Becky. Even if it's a slimfast or granola bar on the run eat breakfast. I also believe in the exercise in small bursts. I do calf raises while I wash dishes, jumping jacks when I do laundry, sit ups on commercials, whatever you can fit in. Don't give up on yourself!

    I had the same problem. I also gave up on me. Breakfast was a Big issue for me. I get up early EVERYDAY but I don't have time for me, kids, school, etc.... Well now I make sure atleast 5 days a week, within 30 min. of getting up(no matter what time) I get my breakfast, EVEN if it has to be granola bar on the run.LOL The main thing is GET that metabolism going. If you don't have time for exercise, squeeze in a few min. here and there. When I first started, I didn't get much exercise so When I went to the bathroom b/f I washed my hands I would do jumping jacks(even if it was only 10). Just think 5 bathroom breaks, 50 jumping jacks and YOU can do them anywhere. People might think you are crazy but hey, atleast you know you are getting in that roller coaster next time and HAVING A BALL!! emoticon Start small and build up, so you can stick with it. That is our hardest thing STICKING with what WE start but YOU can TOTALLY do this! emoticon

    Instead of feeling like you have to start your morning at a certain time of the the day, start it as soon as you wake up. I usually don't eat breakfast until after I take my daughter to school (around 12:30pm) every week day. I feel that my day starts when I begin it no matter what the time says on the clock. You can do it, just take it one day at a time and one goal at a time. Doing too much at once will discourage you before you even start. Hang in there, you will get there!
