Been a rough 2 weeks!

Monday, October 25, 2010

As some of you know, I went to North Carolina with my sister. We went to NasCar. Didn't have much fun though. :(

We left Oct 13. My dad went into the hospital the 14th. We couldn't really enjoy ourselves. We came home October 16th. My dad was on a ventilating machine for 8 days. He passed away October 21st.

He had congestive heart failure. I sure do miss him. He was diagnosed with emphysema about a year ago. All the symptoms that he's been having, we thought, was due to his emphysema. As it turned out, it was his heart instead. We had no idea.

We buried him yesterday. It was so hard. My dad is not that old. He was only 68. He left behind his wife and 5 kids and 18 grandkids and one great grandson. My mother passed (at age 52) away in 1998. She went to bed and just never woke up. Dad took it hard. Six years later we lost my baby brother (at age 28) due to Good Pastures Syndrome. Average lifespan is 8 years with someone who has Good Pastures Syndrome, he lived 11 years. Then 6 years later we lose my dad due to congestive heart failure. I dread another 6 years to come.

Please keep me and my family in your prayers. We are all going through alot.

God Bless

Jayme, I am very sorry to hear about your daddy and all your loses. I will be praying for you, too. God will take care of everything; I promise you. He took away my anxiety, before a maxilla facial surgery, today. He made me very calm and before I knew everything was done. I know loses are very hard and sad to face, but God will strengthen you and your family. Take care and rest. I missed you at threads and hope you feel better soon and join us again. A big Hug, Carmen
