What a fantabulous day and the end of fantabulous Week One of Operation MM! I am overwhelmed with the success I am enjoying with simply eating well and movin and shakin my bod. I feel awesome and ready to take on Week Two. Bring it!

Today I uploaded Runkeeper app to my iPhone as I know several folks including our daughter Julie who use it with great success. It works with the GPS in my iPhone and is slicker than snot. I will use this for my walks as opposed to getting all gizwitchied up with my Garmin. I walked around our neighborhood for an hour and worked up a sweat. I ended up with a time of 60 minutes and covering 3.9 miles. Woot!

I stepped on the scale this morning and lost 1.6 lbs. from just yesterday and I am even eating very very well. I am noticing overall body toning and that is how fast my body responds to fitness. I will be anxious to take measurements in the morning and see where I stand. i did take them before I started and it wasn't pretty. Not a problem though as I will kick this fluff to the curb.

Jim and I are going to head down to our favorite bike path in the morning for a 6 mile slow run for me and another c25k session for him. This is the bike path where I ran many many many miles for my HM training long runs and the same area where my first HM started and finished. I have been running in just my neighborhood again post HM and anxious to run in different surroundings. I will then start day one of my SparkPeople 28 day Bootcamp after returning home. DIL Emily will be starting it also and I love that and look forward to doing this with her.

I just can't believe that on a Saturday i didn't do what I used to do and just sit and do about nothing fitness-wise. I couldn't stand the thought of just sitting and doing nothing. I wanted to get ouside and move. Wow...can't believe I just typed that.

That is about all for now so...Until tomorrow's riveting installment to Operation MM...

That's great, Laurie! I did my 8 mile long run on Saturday. Unfortunately, it seems to take up a lot of time! Got Brad up at 7:30 so I could go run, but then he wanted breakfast, so he sent me to Casey's to hook him up with some breakfast pizza... I finally got to start my run at 8:15. Got done at 9:45ish, then stretched, showered, and all that... shoot, it was 11 before I finished with my run. *sigh* Oh well... it got in and it felt good, so that's what matters, right? lol

Maybe I should do something kinda like your doing. You've inspired me to do more in my work outs than what I have been doing. I've been measuring on how many steps I took. I think I'm going to do miles now. Thank you. I'm glad that your MM is going well.
    Take care

Operation Mickey sounds great...I think you should get a "patent".

Thanks for the motivation...I needed it after my "beach" trip and prime rib splurge. :)
