Fruits/Veggies ~ 8 servings
Sodium intake 503 mg.
Cardio ~ 6 mile Long Run (1:13:56) 586 cals burned, SparkPeople 10 min. Cardio Bootcamp video
ST ~ Running ST
Binges ~ nada...none and stayed out of the crap ~ 8 day streak
This thing with going binge-free is getting rather easy and I never knew it was possible. I don't even have cravings like I did before and I will bet you its beacuse I haven't been eating stupid. Hmmm...interesting. I actually have difficulties a few days getting my calories in. All in all, I am estatic with my nutrition and my tracker is open to the public per se.
On the fitness front, RAWK! I had my first real long run since finishing my first HM September 26. We went back to the bike path that I trained on so much this summer and it was great to get back. Given all the ST and extra cardio I have been doing, my legs felt pretty good actually. I held a steady pace with splits of 12:22, 12:12, 12:26, 12:20, 12:23 and 12:15 for a final AP of 12:20. I went home, stretched and then did a 10 minute Spark video to fulfill my 28 day Bootcamp requirement followed by my running ST. Whew! Oh and I should mention that Jim had another c25k session and is approaching week 3. He is enjoying his runnng so far.
Looking ahead in to 2011 I have my Half marathon schedule set...I hope...fingers crossed. My good Spark running buddy Christina (Phdmama06) today received news that she is Half Fanatics member #610 and I congratulate her bigtime because it takes alot to earn membership. It is my goal to attain this membership in 2011. The schedule is this:
1) Disney Princess HM ~ Feb. 27
2) Quad Cities Distance Classic HM (local) ~ May 8
3) Madison Mini Marathon ~ Aug. 20
4) Air Force Marathon (HM for me) ~ Dayton, OH ~ Sept. 17
5) IMT Des Moines Marathon (HM for me) ~ Oct. 16
The last three are the ones that would qualify me as a Half Fanatic with finishing 3 HM within 90 days. My fingers are crossed and I will not try to PR given they are close together and I promise to be smart with this. This is not etched in stone but is written in pencil with an eraser on the end but you start somewhere and this is it.
I would also like to congratulate several of my Spark running friends who either ran races yesterday or today. There were many HM's and PR's and that is so exciting! CONGRATULATIONS, MY FRIENDS!
So as we speak the trick or treaters are all over the neighborhood but we are not partaking as we did not want the candy in the house. Our little dog Lucy is part chihuahua and she can hear things at least 10 miles away I swear. She is a little bundle of nerves right now with everything going on outside. Her shrill bark goes right through you. Is it 8:00 yet? Jeepers.
That is about it for now so...Until tomorrow's riveting installment to Operation MM...
