You may have noticed that yesterday I did not blog as I was exhausted and simply needed the day off from everything. My body and mind needed a break so I did just that. Today I feel renewed and ready to hit it again. Has anyone noticed a change in your appetite since the time change? Boy, I have and I am not happy about it. My hubby Jim even mentioned the fact that he can't get enough to eat so its just notme. I was in such a great zone and then this happened. Oh well, life is full of hurdles, right?
I had one of the last PT sessions this go around and boy did PT Candi give me a send off. She did another round of pretty intense myofascial release and she pretty much put me to tears. I gave birth twice without drugs as my pain tolerance is so high. This was intense, but you could feel less and less lumpy bumpies in my lower leg. My heel was alot looser too and the burning stabbing upon foot flexion was considerably less. We're getting there! What have i learned from this? STRETCHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I went for a run this evening after work and I decided I would run what my body wanted to run. Fast. My legs wanted to run fast (relatively speaking of course). I am doing one of Jeff Galloway's training plans and he has you insert some speed runs every whipstitch so I did. You can see my splits ablove. It felt good and the time went by fast.
Today is day one of my new binge free streak and hopefully my body is getting used to the time change. MAYBE I will quit feeling like I want to eat the house.
That is about all of the highlights for today so until tomorrow...
Toodles!
