What a much better day today and I feel so great! Yesterday I was pretty much exhausted from the weekend and didn't even have the energy to blog. I am back though!! I ate very very well and got in all of my fats, protein and carbs. My water was right on and did I ever stumble upon a great herbal tea. I enjoyed a cup of Bigelow Ginger Snappish tea this afternoon at work. I love it this time of year as the companies come out with great Holiday coffee and tea flavors. Love it!

I decided I would run today's easy run a little faster than the long runs but not much faster. I believe my long run was 12:30 and today's average pace was 12:13-ish. It feels so good to be training again with a schedule and THIS HM schedule is so enjoyable with no real fancy schmancy bells and whistles. Just 2 easy runs during the week and the important long run on the weekend. I am thinking tomorrow's cardio du joir will be a brisk 45 minute (at least) walk.

Next week our family heads down to my in laws in southeast Missouri for Thanksgiving. Emily (fellow Sparker) and I are putting our heads together to take healthy foods as we will have a fridge and microwave in our motel rooms. We will also go armed with dvd's and resistance bands. We will also be able to utilize the Spark videos as we will have internet. Healthy eating and fitness does not have to be left at home. She and I have worked way to hard to let it all go in 4 days time.

That is about all of the highlights for today so until tomorrow...

Toodles!

I love the new teas that show up this time of year too. I need to stock up! I know you'll have a healthy Thanksgiving. That is so great that you and your DIL will be able to team up and eat right and exercise while you are away. I lack people in my offline life that I can do that with. I am already anxious to read your blog about it and you haven't even left!

Great plan of action for Turkey Day! I always struggle when I have to leave my routine behind, but it sounds like you have a great backup to keep you right on track! Keep up the goood work :)

Glad you are enjoying your training schedule. I have been mixing up pace a little more myself lately. Good luck with the healthy traveling next week.

Oh, Jen, mini-vacay it is NOT. LOL. I guess we could start thinking of it as exotic, rustic place... maybe that will help as we enjoy the nuances of the Peidmont Stonecrest MO-tel. Yes, exotic and rustic...THAT will help....

How cool that you and Emily will be able to work out together!! Are you going to run while you're gone? I think running in Missouri instead of Illinois will be like running in an exotic place!! haha Have fun on your little "mini vacation" and be sure to enjoy time with your family in a healthful way! :) I look forward to hearing about your workouts with the DIL. :)

Wow! Busy day. But you make it look easy.

Are you buying yourself a nice new outfit (or two) for your Disney excursion to show off your booty?
