I do believe that I'm going to be taking advantage of this weather and run as often as possible. I ran 2.5 miles in 20 minutes last night! =) I was winded, but could have kept going. My neighborhood is kind of small, but if I run all the way around it one time, then do a figure 8 two times, it's 2.5 miles. There are some small hills that really challenge me as well. Today I'm going to add one more big circle and see how far it gets me. I'm hoping it will be a 5k. Since it gets dark so early, I really don't like leaving my neighborhood since I run by myself while the hubby's at the gym still. My neighborhood is well lit and it makes it easy to see the ground and anything around me.
I weighed in this morning and the scale said 151 even. I know that it can be deceiving, but I just can't help but see my progress all week and see if I need to cut back on salt, or something. I have been very careful about my carbs, salt, and calorie intake. My body doesn't like digesting many carbs. I have noticed I get my best results when my carb intake is on the low end of my required amount.
Crock pot meal is cooking while I'm working and will be ready when I get finished with my run after cheer tonight! Love it! We ate in every day but Friday and Sunday last week. This week, I hope to do the same! Makes me feel good!
