I haven't been around much lately. Seriously had a desire to loose some weight but lacked the follow thru to carry it out. There's 6 weeks till we ring in 2011. I can either enter the new year the same as I did this year or get a jump start on 2011 and loose 5 lbs.
I'm going to choose the 5lbs. I know this is not the time to begin eating healthy and exercising with all the temptations to eat. But why not now? Somewhere along the way I have to learn to say NO. No to cookies. No to cheese balls. No to candies. No to junk food. This doesn't mean I'll always NO but for the next 6 weeks they are very limited.
Monday I'll weigh in. That will be my starting weight. Tomorrow is 1 of 2 Thanksgiving dinners. I've made a cranberry salad (without the whip topping) , garden salad, green beans and Pumpkin muffins (spice cake mix & 1 can of pumpkin). I will eat only what I can put on 1 plate besides my salad. No temptations tomorrow as in-laws don't make the good dressing. Thursday that is a different story. Oyster dressing. We only have it every other year. Again I will have to make wise choices and limit myself to 1 plate.
