Time for a Swift Kick in the Azz!!

Wednesday, December 01, 2010

This one's gonna be a quickie...

No sugar-coating it for me, this time anyway...

You all know I've been pretty much sneaking in my SP time here at work since home comp has been on the fritz for a while now...and let me TELL you - this girl here has been having some SERIOUS withdrawls!! I miss my friends here....soooo much - you really can't imagine...

Now - to the point!

For anyone who's here and can identify with a "temporary SPARK low" - we've all suffered 'em from time to time...for anyone here who knows me - usually the one being motivational and sparky and all (hey, that's how I made my sparkname after all!! lol) - I'm the one who's needing a good, swift kick right in my KEISTER right NOW!!!

Let's face it - these days I'd much rather climb into some comfy blankies and cuddle with wee one or dh...

Blame it on the cold weater, blame it after school activities (Joey's now in wrestling and our life is currently dedicated to dropping off/picking up and attending tourneys - first one is this Sat!), blame it on too much tryptophan from Thanksgiving's feast (of which I ate enough for 6 people - and I'd do it all over again - HA), I haven't been doing much of anything along the lines of cardio OR ST lately - not even Billy Blanks or Shred...you get it....excuses, excuses. You know, a wise friend of mine once told me "excuses are just like a$$ez - everyone has one" - sooooo

I AM REQUESTING A GINORMOUS FAVOR OF YOU ALL -

Come one, come all - here ye, here ye...

KICK ME SQUARE IN THE BUTTOCKS (quoting Eric Cartman)

I need it...I deserve it.

PLEASE!

OK

Done ranting and raving now...

I really and truly do miss you ALL!

Hope you've been kicking major booty for me in my "absence"...

I know I can get my groove back - just need a little help from my friends this time 'round...

XOXOXO
Jeanie

Hi my bestest SF! Sorry I haven't been able to get on here at work either. Training a new girl for when I leave on extern and do not want to be sparking in front of the newbies! LOL.

So, I think you know whats up and don't really need us to kick your a$$ to GET ER DONE as I like to say. You can do it! I have all the faith in you in the world. But only you can motivate yourself. How? By looking at your old pics you posted here after completing the SHRED. Look at how the definition in your waist looks now. Look at the new clothes you can now wear because of all your hard work and dedication and then as yourself, "Do I want to throw it all away?"

Well do you? The Jeanie I know would say hell to the naw! I am lookin fly, getting mad props and compliments, doin thangs with the hubby in the middle of nowhere, strutting my stuff, got my ankles back, got me some guns, and I am just LOVIN the new me! NO WAY am I gonna give that up!

Then.....here comes the hard part...... get your butt off the couch and get your SHRED on, Billy Banks on, or a jog on. Even when you do not want to. Those are the best times because once you are done, you are even more proud of yourself for doing it.

As always, I will be right here cheering you on my buddy. And texting you in the meantime.

Love ya always girl! I know you can get your groove back, if Stella can, you can too!

    Holla!

If you'll first kick my azz, then I'll kick yours. Can't do it at the same time 'cause we might fall on our azzes!

    xoxo

Sounds like most all of us need to line up for the stronger ones to do the kicking.lol I think since this is such a wonderful time of year with FOOD being a large part of it, we just need to enjoy it. We have 11 other months to be more vigilant. I'm not pigging out a lot, but I'm not going to feel too badly for my setback. WE/ emoticon I am so grateful for YOU and my Sparkfriends...don't think I'd have gotten this far without all y'all. Have a great rest of your week. Add some walking time and extra sleeping too, if you can get it. You'll be finding your groove inspite of yourself! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon mary

Hey, consider yourself kicked. From what I read on you post, you’re taking care of half of what’s important in life. You’re taking care of, and enjoying, your family. What you’re struggling with is the second half, taking care of yourself.

Remember how excited your were, how motivated, and how proud when you completed your Half-Dome climb. Well, it’s time to get in touch with those feelings again. Drop me a line if you need motivation, but remember true motivation comes from within.

You need to stay active and keep those endorphins working for you. Taking a short break isn’t all bad, it can be good to let your mind rest and your body recover and heal. But, every day you put off your health is a day you can’t get back and it makes getting back into rhythm that much harder.

Make yourself cuddle time, wresting and travel time, and family entertainment time; but make sure you leave yourself time to do what you need to do. You were in such a groove, and your attitude and excitement motivated me. I don’t want to see you lose that.

Now that I’ve put the boot to you, let me say this; I’ve been watching and reading yours stuff for months now and I don’t think this is a big problem. I think you just needed that short break I mentioned. Get back on the SP band wagon – I don’t want to give up reading about your exploits and being infused with your infectious attitude.

    SO………… GET GOING!

You are preaching to the choir!!! I am right there with you. I am on again off again back and forth nothing consistent. The scale is like a see saw, and I really ain't going no where. I lose it, I gain it back.

So when everyone is done kicking you, they need to come kick me too!!! LOL We got this girl, thank goodness for spark cuz without this I probably wouldnt be where I am today. LETS GET OUR MOTIVATION ON!!!!! No matter what lets Move Our Body!!!! Even if it's 15 or 20 minutes. Bust out some squats and jumping jacks in an empty conference room at work .. LMAO!!!!

Miss you too and love you bunches!!!!!!!!

    (((Whip cracking)))

I was there too not so long ago. (Like the past 3-ish months)! I could get exercise in, but was eating garbage. OK, not literally, but you know what I mean! This is my first week "back".
    emoticon

It all starts right here, right now. Pick right up where you left off!
    emoticon

I found it helpful today (start of a new month) to set some new goals. I wrote out my exercise plan for the month of Dec, and I am determined to stick with it. Also, I am going back to lower carbs, higher protein for the month to off set my in laws holiday party where I ALWAYS eat WAY too much toffee. Damn, this stuff is so good it is nearly worth every calorie, I swear! Luckily this is a once a year shindig.

So begin right now. Pour another glass of water, look at your ticker, your progress pics. Find another Sparkie that motivates you. And when you end the day you will look back and say, yep!

Hey Sparky, I hear you loud and clear, I haven't been able to really get in the grove yet, I joined Curves a couple weeks ago and have only made it a few times, I really need a swift kick in the fat back side too.
Good luck to you and me.

    emoticon and so can I

Can I just hug you instead? ;) You can do this, lady. Don't give up on yourself, and for the love of JM, stop making excuses! You're my motivation every day (seriously I think of you every time I do a JM workout!!!!!) and I'm pulling for you (pushing you?!?) to get back to whatever you're working towards. You're such an inspiration, and we all miss you soooo muuuuuuch!

You can do it! emoticon emoticon
