I have a great new dress that I look absolutely horrible in!

So, I bought a dress last month that I hoped to look perfect in by Christmas. My love handles and kangaroo pouch look horrible as the fabric is very snug. Anyway, I made the mistake of trying the dress on tonight when I got home from the gym. Guess what? I STILL look bad in it. Just as bad actually. I lost 8lbs so I don't know how that is possible but it really discouraged me :(

    When I see dresses or blouses on the rack I already have an idea what I can & can't pull off. So some fabrics that fit snug I buy a jacket or sweater to go over it & its normally works out fine.

    You might look into a different undergarment - maybe Spanx or something? The kind of thing that smoothes out those lovehandles and extra curves we don't want. (It's amazing what some of those things can do!)

    Some dresses just do nothing for your body type, regardless if they're really cute on their own. emoticon But, that's o.k. Maybe the dress isn't right for you, not the other way round. Or, maybe one day you'll look great in it, could be the day you least expect it! emoticon

    Maybe the problem is with the dress? Some types of fabric are very unforgiving and look good only on the hangar.
    On the other hand, Christmas is still more than two weeks away, so keep on track and doing good things for yourself.
    But, I totally empathize with the frustration!
