I love eating low carb, love the food and the way I feel. I stuck to induction with a few cheats for 2 weeks and lost 6.8 lbs. The part I regret is I cheated on Thanksgiving and gained it back in 2 days. I know the initial loss is a lot of water, but I also know when I get past the first few days I feel amazing. I have a lot of substitutes for my favorite foods so eating low carb comes easily for me.

I really think my food addiction is rooted very deep, it started at a very young age. It goes around and around. Lose a few, binge, gain, start over. Right now I'm not in an exercise routine and I'm really seeing how good it is to be active now. I feel like a fat old lady and I'm only 28.

I'm going to recommit to Atkins today, try to track diligently and exercise with my new Wii fit 30 minutes at least 3 times a week to start. I'm going on vacation without internet for a while so I will have to journal on paper instead of track online, but I really need to do this. emoticon

Thanks you all!~ CJ, I feel like crap the first 3 to 4 days, then I feel so energetic that I can cut down on coffee! emoticon

That's great you feel good on low-carb...I didn't! I was grumpy without carbs and felt really tired.
My diet and exercise are going to be all messed up too due to vacation in January. Ugh. Won't have anywhere to work out and won't get to choose what food I eat, so that's going to suck. Plus, won't have access to internet I don't think.
    Good luck!

I had success with Atkins at various times in my life, but I always gained back what I'd lost, plus more. I've had success, losing 70 pounds, with the SP calorie guides. I feel like I can maintain the loss this time because I've really changed a lot of eating habits. Good luck to you on your journey.
