New Year
Saturday, January 01, 2011
So, the new year is here. This means I will be evaluating my goals and changing them up as needed. I haven't weighed myself in a few days bc of traveling and being busy. I have eaten a bit overboard, but continued to work out. I pray for maintenance and not gain, but we will see either tomorrow or Monday. But there are other goals besides weight loss that I have for 2011... So here they are.
1. Become a more confident individual. This means in ever aspect...more confident in my position as a teacher and coach. More confident in my appearance, my eating habits, my relationships, etc.
2. Start a cheer camp in the summers. I have wanted to start a cheer/gymnastics gym my entire life, but now know that it isn't a reasonable lifestyle for me and my future family. So the cheerleading coaching is a great way to fulfill my dreams still. I will continue coaching the school team, but I also want to start a cheerleading camp for tumbling, stunting, motions, dancing, etc. This is the year I will start this.
3. Run 5 or more races this year. I want to run at least 650 miles this year. That's less than 2 miles a day. Tomorrow I start with 5 miles. Still toting with the idea of a half marathon in May.
4. Be a motivator. I want to get to my goal weight and stay there, forever. but the thing is, I don't want to be a health snob. I want to be a health motivator. I want to motivate my family and friends to be health conscious. With this, I have to start making wiser choices all the time, but still have a balance of enjoyment.
With these four goal there are more smaller ones that go with them. I have weight loss goals, but I will evaluate those when I see my weigh in either Sunday or Monday. I'll post those goals at that time. I am proud of what I accomplished in 2010. I am proud of the lifestyle changes I have already made. I am also excited to see what lifestyle changes will continue to come!
I hope everyone has a wonderful New year!!! Here's to new goals and new accomplishments!
