New Year, New Beginning

Tuesday, January 04, 2011

Well, my title says it all. New year, new beginning!!

I have decided to start this journey once again. I took a break from SparkPeople. And gained about 15 pounds.

As some of you know, I lost my dad back in October. Then the holidays came and went. It was tough, but got through it. I look at myself, and I am the biggest I have ever been. About 250 pounds. Haven't weighed lately, though.

All my clothes are tight on me. Even the ones that I wore before my dad left us. I remember back in the day when depression use to make me lose weight. Not anymore. lol

This brings me to me losing the weight. I've GOT to do it this time.

Wish me luck everyone.

Thanks, and God bless!

    Hi Jayme,
I know that you will be able to achieve your goals.

I had to take a break in early 2010 to help my wife during a time when she was stuggling with severe depression and had a spike in my weight.

I have been on my journey to a healthier lifestyle for a while and there have been some ups and downs. But the key for me was to not give up when I fell and to realize every day is a fresh chance. I am now down 112 pounds from my top weight of 305.

Stop by my Sparkpage for a visit if you get a chance. I hope that we will be able to get to know each other better and encourage each other.
    Your fellow Sparker,
