2011 --are we ready? YES WE ARE

It is always amazing how quickly a year goes by. Now, all my Christmas stuff is safely (i hope) in the attic and my attention turns back to the task at hand, continuing on my exercise habits. I did good for a while keeping up with the exercise, but the last two weeks--I just wasn't able to keep it going. I know it is just a matter of it becoming part of the day and I just wasn't at that place again yet. I long to be there again. I can remember when exercise was just part of my day, like eating breakfast or doing laundry. It wasn't something to figure out or make time for, it just was. My goal for 2011 is to get back to that place, where it is not a choice of whether or not to exercise but WHEN or at WHAT TIME that particular day that I WILL. That is such a key element to your lifestyle. I need to learn not to beat myself up if I miss a day and just keep moving forward.
Logging is hard for me too. I truly believe food is 60 or more percent of dieting and exercise is 40. So I need to get my calories in check.
We all know the drill, its not my first rodeo, but I hope to say my last! ha...
I am anxious to get started and ready to go, I hope my body shows progress so I don't get discouraged, which is usually why I get unmotivated. I need to make the change whether or not progress comes, I guess I need to keep that in mind. For my overall health as I will be 40 soon, exercise and eating are important to me being around for my family not just for my pant size.

And I am off....

    Yeah!! You can do it!!! How was C25K going? I'm back on C25K (3rd time, ahem), shins are feeling good.

    Persistence will win for us in the end!!
