Day 11, a Great Article and ... Chugging Along

Here's the first paragraph:

According to recent research, the average person makes 200 decisions every day that will influence his or her weight. And most of these decisions aren’t monumental choices, like “Should I become an elite marathon runner?” or “Should I move to Wisconsin and live entirely on bratwurst and cheese curds?” Most, in fact, are tiny little choices—habits, really—that over the long run, lead us down one of two paths: The road to ripped, or the freeway to flab.

I'm guilty of not getting enough sleep (but what about us poor insomniacs??), AND of eating too little fat.

On a personal note, I get to keep my Monday doctor appointment! So I am a very happy camper. It just goes to show, you have to ask for what you need and most people will make accommodations for you!

    I saw that article - it's very interesting!

    Good job on the doctor and putting YOU FIRST! As I said yesterday you are setting a great example for all of us to follow.

    Whether we get there or not is up to us but others have succeeded so the only reason we don't is because we didn't want it.

    Where did that come from???

    Those were good tidbits in the article; I think I will work on the size of my bites. You have been rewarded for asking for time for yourself; that is important time. You can't get better without taking this step and with the half marathon coming up you need your feet to be your pals.

    You are working that New Years list in a fine way; putting yourself first when it is important to do so.
