Feeling a bit down.

Wednesday, January 19, 2011

So I stayed the same this week. The thing that bugs me is that I worked SO HARD. I have weeks where I do half as much and I loose a pound. It can just be so discouraging. I can't let it make me feel defeated and that's what I feel at the moment. I need to look at the bright side. I didn't gain. Tomorrow I am going to take my measurements. It's been about a month since the last time. Hopefully I'll see a change. :) Tomorrow is a new day and I'm going to rock it!

I like measurements much better then the scale. I also get discouraged when I see the number on the scale. Remember this is a lifestyle change. Even if you didn't lose this week you are treating your body good. You are being healthier which is doing wonders for your body emoticon

YES you will! emoticon YOU are doing emoticon
I understand what you mean though. I have had weeks where I do pretty much the same amount of exercise, ONE week I lose, One week I have gained. emoticon What?? It's enough to really tick you off and It could set you back if YOU CHOOSE to let it! Choosing to move forward is AWESOME and shows how much you really want this. Keep up the emoticon Job! emoticon

You have a great attitude. I know it gets discouraging. It reminds me of last nights episode of "I use to me Fat" the girl McKenzie stayed the same weight for a couples weeks and she would exercise 6 hours a day! Sometimes it is just a little change that will make a difference...maybe a day off from the gym to let your body rest.

Good job not letting it get you down. It can be so frustrating when you are doing everything right but our bodies just won't cooperate. Keep your head up and keep working at it. You know you're doing healthy, good things for your body even if the scale refuses to show it with pounds lost.

Hard work WILL pay off! That darn scale means nothing!! I read an article somewhere that the scale measures your weight at that particular moment in time and nothing else. You could've been retaining water or you're accumulating a lot of muscle mass which is throwing off your weight loss.

Keep at it, girlie!! You'll have a great big loss on the scale in a week or two, I just know it!!!

I am sure your measurements will reflect the intensity of your exercise and careful eating. Give yourself credit for actually putting in the effort and love to give yourself a healthier life. Claim your victory!
