Changes....Oh how I love to run...

February has started off great. I have good solid goals and a game plan. I finished my first week of the Jeff Galloway's 5K training program and I love it. Funny how injury and recovery has made me so much more grateful for the wonderful things my body does for me. I also started using my Garmin and love it too. :) I just have to be careful to not push myself to do better too quickly. I have been warned that I must take my running come back slow and steady. So, this girl is listening, but I did run further than I was supposed to, but the whole time listening to my body and not pushing too hard.
The next thing in my life I am working on is eating more vegetarian dishes. I am not a fan of meat at the best of times, so I have warned my family and have started cooking more vegetarian meals. Hubby loves it and the kids are ok with it too. I am not sure where it will go, but for now I am really liking the flexatarian plan and can see the health benefits of such a lifestyle. Who knows it may turn into a vegetarian lifestyle.... :)
I have started to actively look for work. I had an interview on Friday and will find out next week if I got the job. It is a good job and it would encompass all that I like to do and the hours are nice to. 8-4 Mon-Fri.
Israel trip is coming soon. I am so excited about it. I am a christian and to do a trip to the Holy Land is going to be an experience of a lifetime. I never imagined I would ever go there. My oldest daughter and I are going and maybe my daughter in-law as well. What a special gift from my dear hubby. Jen was always going and he thought it would be nice if I went too. He will be working and dealing with our house that will be at the very end finishing stage.
There is lots of changes on the horizon and I look forward to embracing them.
