Not a lot going on in our world today. It was an odd day, as my hubby was home and didn't have to work - so he hung outside with the kids, and played all day. We can add an igloo to our list of Winter fun now.....Hubby is 6'3" and he can stand up inside of it - so it is pretty impressive.

I got in my Bootcamp, Quickfire and a run. I am pretty happy with the running program by Spark....today was day 2 of week 1. The program called for 1 minute walk, 3 minute run alternating for 32 minutes. I am doing well keeping a good pace during the run, and managed to do 3.2 miles in the 32 minutes....that is pretty good considering there was 7 minutes of walking involved. I think day 3 is the same pattern, for a longer time. I am OK with the time - the interval is comfortable for me.

I know after a couple of weeks of intervals, the spark program goes to just a run - I may rethink that - and use a bigger interval, and add some walking ...

I am a huge headcase when I run, and preprogrammed walking helps my psychological well being while running.

I also think that this will be huge in July when I plan to run my next 10K - especially if the weather is like last year 95 degrees, with 85% humidity.

    Wow! I'm impressed at your speed!!! Even when I finished C25K, I wasn't at 3 miles. Well, it's all about improving yourself, right? Congrats on all you accomplished today. And, I'd love to see that igloo. WOW!!!
