This past week was one of victories for me.

It started with the Super Bowl. I normally pig out during the big game. But this year I only make one snack, had only one main dish, pizza and one dessert. Plus, I did a great job not eating lots of each. I ate less pizza than I normally do. And the team I wanted to win the Super Bowl actualy won.

Another victory was my eating this past week. I ate better than I have in a very long time. I was below or within my calorie range every day.

The biggest victory was that since Monday I have only drank one diet Pepsi a day. This is huge for me. I normally have 2 to 5 a day. It has been almost a year and a half since I have only had one a day. I am drinking more water but I need to drink even more.

I am about three pounds down for the week and my jeans are fitting more loosely.

So I have had a good week and now I want another one.

You're not kidding = these are GREAT victories!!! And the best one of all is that you lost three pounds!!! Just stick with it, Phil. I know you can keep it up. You've done it before.

    Keep up the good work.

Congrats on the good week! I know what you mean about giving up the sodas. I go through phases with Diet Coke. Sometimes I think I drink it just out of habit, not that I really want it. Keep up the great work!
