A good swift kick in the britches this week.

Didn't work out Saturday because we were snowmobiling until 2 am so I missed 2 hours at the gym there. Didn't go Sunday because I was lazy. Didn't go yesterday because Seanna is on VACA (no excuse as I could very well crawl my sorry butt out of bed and go do it but didn't). I did clean yesterday (the gym) which involves moving all of the equipment and all that so I'm taking that one. Might kickbox tonight if Greg gets home from work on time for the 6 pm class (HOPING). Then maybe get up first thing in the am and hit the gym before work. ( I'm thinking jumprope, step-ups, bench jumps... my heart rate hasn't been over 80 all week I think) UGH. Feeling like a sluggo.

My eating has been on track though this week. Why is it that when I'm working out faithfully I can't keep my head in the eating game and when I am eating right, I seem to have ZERO gumption to go to the gym.

Planning on taking a day or two off next week (school break) and doing something with Greg but I would like to be DOWN in weight and not up.

He on the other hand is UP another 2 pounds this week and he was going well until yesterday. One of the guys at work has family up from Louisianna and brought in a crockpot full of true jambalaya. Soooooo I'm hoping his slight gain is due to sodium. He has been doing great with fruits and veggies though so thats a plus. Gotta get him away from the Pepsi/Mt. Dew beasts though.

We were looking thru some old photos from when our Daughter was born last night and he was like, "holy crap... I was skinny!" Yeah... no kidding. that was 60 + pounds ago. I think it really got him thinking though and I'm hoping it will jog his ambition right into working harder. He mentioned he might need to go see the Doctor and get his bloodwork done and looked over. I'm also seriously considering getting him a treadmill to start walking on at night. His new job is pretty much sedentary, and before when he worked construction he was so much more active.

ANYWHO.... looking like both of us need a good swift kick this week. Its Wednesday we can still turn it around!
