2011 achievements to reach

I want to lose these last 45 lbs by the time I turn 45 and be fit and healthy.
I give myself little gifts for reaching each 5lb goal ie: costume earrings or bracelet
I am saving money each week for a trip to the sunny south next winter with my hubby and want to look and feel good.

This is doable, but lately the scale isn't moving and it's not from lack of exercise.
I am keeping a food diary (aim from 1200 to 1500 calores per day made up from 3 lean protiens, 3 fruits, 3 - 4 vegetables, 2 to 4 starches, 1 low fat dairy and 2 fats) and drinking anywhere from 8 to 12 glasses of water per day ( a few of them are made up from licorce herbal tea).

I was told this sometimes happens in the winter as our body is storing fat...is this true? Am I just a cuddly mama bear who will wake up in the spring, full of energy and a roaring metabolism ???

Or is it because I have been taking, for about 3/4 year, a mixture of herbal weightloss pills (program will be unnamed) and my body is adjusting since I am no longer taking them? I quit taking them because 1) Its expensive; 2)It can't be a lifelong crutch, so I need to complete this journey without them in order tokeep the weight off for the long-term.

I am frustrated and don't understand, yes I have a few slips ups but I don't believe enough that the scale should still be slowly moving. emoticon emoticon
