Weight Watchers Day 1.

The first day is always so daunting, isn't it? What if I can't stick to it, like so many times before?
Its definitely unsettling to make big changes, but this is one I have been wanting to make for such a long time. If the past few months have taught me anything, its determination and that I am the only one who can decide to shape my life into what I want it to be.
I am going to channel that determination to reach my goals and see success in the areas of my life that are important to me. Taking back my health is such a big part of that for me.
Things have settled down a little bit since my trip out of state is over, company is gone, and we're getting back into a routine. Its as good a time as any to start really devoting myself to this. So here goes.
Breakfast was 4 points (on the points plus plan) with a cut up banana, a cup of cut up strawberries, 1/3 cup fat free vanilla yogurt, and a couple tablespoons of granola, all mixed together.
On the points plus plan, I can have 39 points per day, with 49 extra weekly points. I have 35 more points to go today, which helps me feel less panicked about "dieting." The "D" word...eek!
I'm going to change the meaning of the "D" word though.... its not Diet anymore... its Determined.
