Warm and then Cool.

It had been warming up but it was wet and colder the last couple of days so I haven't been walking outside. I have been doing indoor stuff. The dogs don't like it cold or wet either. Also dealing with a little bit of drama from a friend. I haven't felt like cooking. So I have been grazing instead of eating good meals. Too many carbs, not enough protein. I have been staying under my calories for the day. But days like today, I am WAY under my calories for the day, not good. I'm just frustrated and I need to walk. But its supposed to be getting warmer the next couple of days. Its almost 1 am and I am still awake. My bedtime is 9 to 10 pm. I also have been watching Documentaries on Netflix. "Super Size Me"," Fat Head", "The Gerson Miracle", "The Beautiful Truth" "Food Inc", and the DVD "You on a Diet". I also ordered the book called, "Protein Power" that I saw on" Fat Head". I am interested in the book called, "Good Calories, Bad Calories"too. So I guess I am putting my down time to SOME good use. Blah.

    I picked up the Leslie Sansome tape at Catholic Charities for just a little bit of nothing. I brought it home and put it up and for got all about it. I am going to get it out and get it ready to start using it. If you have a Salvation Army or thrift stores close around you you might be able to find it. I have picked quite a few tapes and dvds that way. I just need a swift kick in the rear to get me in gear and start using them.
    The weather will be getting better, I have no idea where you are from so I can't tell you that tomorrow it will be sunshiny but I hope for your sake it is. Sounds as though since your able to do more you are getting cabin fever when the weather does not cooperate with you.

    Sorry I am late in seeing this. I was in the hospital last week.

    It sounds like you are having a bump time. I call it a time when you are just not really in the mood to do what you are supposed to do. Now that the weather is nice again, get back out in the sun. I sat out today for an hour and felt so much better. Enjoy the sun.

    At least you are physical able to do things. I now have to wait for the doctor to give me permission. Exercise for me, will you?

    Have you ever heard of Leslie Sansone? She has the most excellent walking DVD's that you can do in your house.....b/c here in WA where I live it's not nice outside many days of the year and I'm just too self conscious to drive down & walk around the mall. Also I’d never walk at the “right pace” to loose weight……it’s just a suggestion but if there is a library near you ~ try and see if they have a DVD/VHS you can check out…..
