not too bad

Today is not bad a day. I am a little hungry because I am used to eating larger portions and larger meals but I can say that I am not starving. .......I just dont have that stuffed feeling that I love to have. You know the one that you have to take a good nap after? Thats the one!!! The day is halfway thru and I am about to make dinner and I hope my choices leave me satisfied and hit my goals!!! Have a great day everyone!!!

Well dinner is over and my choices were not as good as I thought they were. I went over about 200 calories with my dinner. I will do better tomorrow!!!!

    If you pre-plan you meals for the day, this should prevent you from going over your allotted daily calories. Also, I sometimes find myself hungry after eating my meals but instead of finding something more to eat, I wait for a little while and then the hunger pang goes away. It takes time and just like you didn't develop this unhealthy way of eating overnight, you’re not going to necessary get the hang of things right away.

    Food tracking is very time consuming but it is very necessary and it also can be fun. You may say, “How can it be fun”? Well, glad you asked, food tracking causes you to really put thought and effort into your meal planning and you get to eat a variety of foods which keeps you from getting bored with your meals. You have to know that you are worth all the blood, sweat and tears that you give in order to have a better quality of life.

    It's going to take time for you to get into the groove of things with the food tracking and the exercise but if you don't give up, I have all confidence that you will get it. Invest in yourself because YOU are worth it!!! emoticon

    Great job on staying focused. 200 is not that bad... it can lead to worse but the fact that you're monitoring your intake is a plus!! Hang in there and stay away from that stuff feeling that's how I got where I am. Satisfaction but not stuff is good
