Local honey! Trust me on this one, I had way wicked allergies when I first moved out here (Albuquerque) from California; I had to call in sick several times, they got so bad. Well, after talking to some people, and reading stuff on the Internet, I discovered that if you take one teaspoon of LOCAL honey every day, your symptoms will dissipate. Case in point: since I started doing this, I haven't been sick at all
The key is that you buy honey from your area, hence the emphasis on LOCAL. Stuff from anywhere else just won't do the job. Let me know how this works for you!

I live on Claritin (the generic form) year round, and always have breakthrough problems with the juniper. This year, I just tried changing to Allegra (so far, 3 days of it). When I get really congested, I like to eat something spicy - get the nose running on purpose!

Really sorry to hear about the allergies. Google "natural cures allergies" and see if you find anything that works.

Again, sorry to hear. emoticon emoticon

Thanks for commenting my blog. As for allergies? I deal with them all the time. I don't like taking meds either. But, when they get bad enough, I whip out the sudafeds or benadrills. I read somewhere that yogurt helps relieve allergy symptoms. Not sure how true that is. But, I'm willing to ask one of the SP dietitians to get their view on that. Hope you feel better soon.
