Results from week 1 of Ripped in 30

First let me stand up and say that I am a Jillian Michaels dvd junkie. I have never gotten results like I have with her workouts. No, the pounds are not melting off of me, but I don't have a lot of weight to lose. What I am reaping from the workouts is a flat stomach, no muffin top, muscle definition in my legs and arms, a nicer butt, smoothing of cellulite on my thighs, and everything is so much more toned. So if you haven't tried one of her workouts I would highly recommend them.
Now back to the business at hand. I started Ripped in 30 a week ago. I love the dvd, it follows her 3-2-1 format she did in her 30 day shred workout. I found week one to be challenging but very doable. Did not have to modify any of the moves. I took my measurements and glad I did as here are the results:
Upper arms -1/2"
Not sure where the calf gain came from but I don't have huge calves so I am good with a gain as it is muscle.
So with week one down, I moved into week 2 tonight and let me tell you.....it is definately a challenge. I did all the moves without modification but they were not pretty. I have my work cut out for me and am thinking that I am not sure that I will be ready to move on to week 3 when it is time. But I have surprised myself with all her other dvd's I have taken on and so I will remain optimistic about this one.
