Bright and shiny! Luvvit!

Thursday, April 14, 2011

Thank you to all those who have encouraged me on my journey towards more up-to-the-minute washing facilities!

Our old bathroom had been put in place in the Sixties. The tiles sported a turquoise pattern, and had started to move every time I cleaned them - not good, I felt! The loo was giving up the ghost, and the bath had trails under each tap, which although they matched the general colour scheme. nevertheless were surplus to requirements! The time had come!

Much touring of bathroom suppliers followed, with decision making becoming the order of the day. The day the old stuff was ripped out, I lay in bed, awake at 4am, convinced that I didn't actually like anything we had chosen, and was going to hate the finished result. Talk about 'I Need Sleep!'

Anyway, to cut a long fortnight short, and regretful of the broken biscuits which had to be tidied up as I could not give those to the guys who were fitting it all (don't ask me what I did with them!!), we now have a beautiful shiny new bathroom. which I actually like! Hurrah!

So I went shopping, and bought it a present! One of those little bottles of essential oils with sticks in, very posh - but cheaper in the Body Shop than any others I have seen. And of course, I may need to buy it some new towels - do you think I should?
These finishing touches are so important, don't you think??!!

Hiya, sorry I haven't responded earlier.

I do think you deserve new towels to finish the room off, even if you don't use them! They will make you smile even more when you go into it!.
