Sunday in Idaho

We had a good day today. I slept all night...for 8 hours. Wow! I am surprised I could sleep that long without getting up. I usually get up at least once a night. I have been really tired the last two nights!! Friday from the drive and yesterday from playing with the kids and not having my glasses for 6 hours. The kids were good for me yesterday and Ella didn't fuss much. I thought she would cry more, because she doesn't know me very well. I guess with 2 of her siblings here she felt safe and she was at home. Nicole got home at 8 p.m. last night with my glasses and I felt so much better. I bet this blog looks better tonight too!!! We went to church today. Then I brought Ella home for her nap while Nicole and the other kids stayed for Primary. She slept for 2 hours and then she ate some yogurt, a cheese stick and some sections of orange. She is a good eater and likes almost everything. Then she played and Nicole got home with the other kids. I had eaten lunch, so I just washed the dishes from last night and we decided to make Broccoli Cheese Soup. We will see how much fat I ate when I put the recipe in the recipe calculator. She used some light Blue Bonnet and not as much cheese as she usually uses. Anyway, it was really good. I even left the table without stuffing myself. I am going to put the recipe on Spark Recipes so that if anyone wants it, it will be under Angie's Cookbook. It is actually called Broccoli Cheese Chowder. So we are getting ready to make monkey bread...we'll see how much I can eat of that!!! It sounds wonderful, but pretty fattening. She is going to adapt the recipe for me as much as she can. Anyway, I need to get off here so we can get the kids their baths. Hope to be back tomorrow. Remember...it is what you make it! emoticon
