The quest for a routine

I've just been thinking back on times I was able to lose weight and exercise regularly. The commonality was getting into a routine and staying with it. At the time I had a Monday through Friday job with regular hours. Now, the days I work, the number of hours I work, and the times I work are far from regular or predictable. I was thinking setting a routine for days off and one for days on, but just haven't been able to make it work.

    of course you can! set your mind to it and write it down where you can see it!
    did I take the stairs? did I park 5 spaces farther than I needed to today? did I choose the healthy over the cheap and easy? am I really hungry, have a glass of water first to see.
