Active from a young age, I don't think I've ever been considered overweight but my weight has been consistently inching in an upward direction since the beginning of highschool. I'm lucky in that I have a "curvy" shape - in other words, I've got massive tatas! I've always used the excuse "well, my boobs alone weigh around 20 pounds!". Yeah, sure. Anyway, the weight seems to distribute fairly evenly on my body, and I'm an outgoing and confident person so not a lot gets me down. I don't think it's obvious that I'm overweight, but I am. Still I can't help but feel self-conscious when I'm out on the beach in nothing but my bikini. The most I've weighed is 170 lbs (which I know, is a lot), which was actually just around 2 weeks ago - I blame all the booze and crappy food I ate in the last 8 months at school! I must admit that although it's tough to stay healthy while going crazy university style, I also didn't put much thought into making healthy choices. I think on average I was drinking 4 times a week, and eating out/ordering in probably almost once every day.
Long story short, I have finally put down my foot! I've been doing daily workouts and watching what I eat since Monday, and am SO proud to say that I have already lost 8 pounds! For me, the first 5-10 pounds always come off easy, so I hope I can keep my motivation up.
Anyway, the picture I've added to this is a picture I took of myself this morning before I took a go on the treadmill. I'm going to try to upload pictures every once in a while just so I (and, if I do happen to gain any followers along the way, you) can see my progress!
If anyone's out there, i would really appreciate your support! Doesn't matter what age you are. I'll support you, and you support me? Okay? Okay. Sounds great!
