Busy Saturday Ahead

I have a busy Saturday planned. I am picking up my friend and we are going swimming. I haven't exercised all week, so it will feel good. I did do laundry yesterday and was up and down the stairs many times, but not for 10 minutes in a row. So, although it was a good thing, I am unable to count it as cardio or any other exercise on the fitness chart.

Then we have some errands to run. She is going out of town next week for work for 3 days. I am having surgery and will be resting afterward. So we have to get somethings done today.

I was pleased when I woke up to see that no snow had accumulated. It was snowing, raining and hailing last night here. I watched my great nephew and his friend, so his Dad could go to the gym. I did a little cleaning at his house while I was there. I was bored and didn't feel like starting a movie. Well, I even got the boys to clean Ethan's room!! I would have swept the kitchen, but I couldn't find the broom. Good excuse, right!! No, I really couldn't find the broom, so was unable to sweep. When Jim got home he said I didn't need to clean. I said, "I know. If I had to do it, I probably wouldn't have!!" Anyway, he is a bachelor and you know how clean they keep things sometimes. I felt good when I went home. I felt like I had done some thing nice. I also brought him 2 bags of groceries. He was almost out and I had some things I could take him. He hasn't worked all week and he is self-employed, so when he doesn't work, he doesn't make anything.

Well, better say goodbye for now. I am off to start my day. I so looking forward to swimming!!! It will feel so good. Have a great day!!
