Sunday's are beautiful!!

Sunday, May 01, 2011

Sunday's are beautiful days!! I started off the day by going to church. I enjoyed the hymns today more than I usually do. I was able to sing them and that makes it nice. I am not a good singer, but God just wants us to sing. I liked today's songs because they were not ones that had a lot of high notes. They are easier for me to sing and enjoy!! emoticon

We had a great family history class today getting ready for a big day at the Temple on Friday. We call it Forever Friday. I hope I can go for a short while. I don't think I will be able to drive, but we have someone picking people up, so I might do that. emoticon

I slept well last night and I don't feel stressed at all today. It is a carefree day with reading my church magazine and thinking. I did have lunch with my neighbor/friend. It is always nice to chat with her!

My nephew's wife is expecting any day now. Soon Knox will arrive and my little sister will be a Grandma. She must be so excited to see him finally arrive. I hope he is healthy, has 10 fingers and toes, and a happy baby!! emoticon At one point they thought it might be twins emoticon, but found out it is just one. I think Knox is an original name. I have never heard it before. I pray for a safe delivery for Amber.

My sister texted me the other day that a guy about 2 years older than me died the other day. He was a farmer and his parents are gone. Now his little brother a few years younger than me...is going to have to run the farm. He is also a rural mail carrier...so he will be busy. I am just hoping that my work to get healthier is going to help me live longer than 50 or 51 years!! If not, I will be over in 3 years!! I don't want that to be the case! I want to live a full life and be as healthy as possible. emoticon

Well, I am going to say emoticon so long for now. I haven't eaten much today...but feel pretty good. I did have chili at my friends...made with real hamburger and pork sausage. I feel really full. Probably because it is more real meat than I usually eat...at least not turkey burger or chicken or moose. Guess I should say it is a different type of protein than what I usually eat. (That's better!!) emoticon

My hard work is really paying off. I was way down on my sizes yesterday when I bought new pants!! I was shocked! Next week I am going to Goodwill and stock up on smaller jeans and capri's for the thinner me and for goal pants to wear this summer!! I am excited!!

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone! Angie

I love Sundays, too. Keep up the healthy attitude and stay on track to goal. Life is good, isn't it? What a great reward for staying on track. Your clothes are outgrowing you, not you outgrowing your clothes. Throw out the too big ones, and replace them with the right size to show off your achievement. Be proud. You deserve it! emoticon
