Shooting Star Day 3

Yesterday i was extremely happy with my eating. I had to work 11-8 and there is a one hour lunch break, during which I tend to go and hit any fast food joint that is closeby. So having learned that I like crunchy things, I packed raw cauliflower to munch on for that effect (instead of chips), a tomato, a hard boiled egg, a little ciabatta roll, greek yogurt with Mango and a few strawberries. Well, and a slice of friendship bread I had baked the night before. But just look at the difference in meal planning. I was very happy. When I came home, my daughter had started to make me a mothers day lasagna with leftover Tofu and kale. She had to leave, so I ended up taking the lasagna noodles, threw the leftovers on top of them and added a bit of tomato sauce and just a smidge of cheese grated on top of them. Much better choice. I think I am really on the right track here!!!! I couldn't do any exercise because of the work, but i had none planned for yesterday anyway, so I didn't mess up. Today is 40 minutes of exercise (preferably cardio if my knee lets me). I have a lawn to mow and want to do some Yoga for stretching out my tired bones.

    cauliflower! emoticon I love especially cauliflower pickles! I always plan and pack my food a day before and let some extra calories for unexpected temptations. otherwise it's hard to stay within range especially on the 24 hours shifts.
