Shooting Stars Day 4

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

Why water? Because it makes you feel fuller, happier, flushes out the nasties and keeps your body healthy. Why not just drink it? Because I don't think of it, because I don't want to search for a bathroom when I am out and about, because I don't have it readily available. Hmmmmm. EXCUSES. It is actually the new habit I picked for this week, and I have been doing poorly getting my 8 glasses in each day. So right now, I have a big giant 2 Liter water bottle sitting next to me begging me to drink it. Okay. This puppy is going to be my best friend for the rest of the day. I think I am in love with it. Nike says Just do it. Alrighty then. Gulp gulp gulp. There, I knew I could do it if I just get my mind set on it.
Ah, I am glad I got that one settled.

When I recently got serious about drinking water, for a time I craved water all day. I drank and drank and drank some more. Perhaps I was catching up for missed water, or something. Now it's become such a habit that I almost don't need to count my cups of water each day. Good job having water right beside you!

I use a smaller bottle,500ml , I find the 2l bottle intimidating. 4 little bottles seem like nothing. I think it's difficult if you're not thirsty. I'm drinking because I'm thirsty, always did , and I'm thirsty because I'm sweating like , you know , the pink fellow.maybe you should start smaller? try to get I don't know , 5 or 6 glasses and see if you can build up at 8? just thinking out loud.
