Day 1 of C25K

So it has been 8 days since we got our gym membership. I have been doing well going to the gym and getting my workouts in. I am loving the stress relief it has given me also. It helps so much to just pound the treadmill or the elliptical!
I downloaded the free C25K podcast from iTunes and started it today. I warmed up with it, and then he had us run 8 times for a minute with a 90 second walk in between. I set the treadmill to walk at about a 3.7 pace for my brisk walk and then set the run speed at 5.5. I sped it up when he told us to, and was surprisingly not winded after the first minute!
After the second and third runs, the thought of "OMG I CAN DO THIS" ran through my head and gave me the biggest rush I have had in a long time! The fact that I was able to do this, and keep at it, and NOT have it bother my asthma was an exhilarating feeling!
After the 8th run, when we took the cool down, I was SHOCKED that I was just barely winded and I could have probably done it again! This guy suggests running 3 times a week, with a rest day in between. I am so excited to try this again!!
Does anyone have any suggestions for any other podcasts for weekly C25K runs? The only thing I disliked about this one was that it was hard to hear when to speed up and slow down at times. So I will be searching for another one.
