Last Chance Day 3 and 4

K, let's recap yesterday...
~Plan the day- Well, I did, then hubby went and screwed up our dinner plans by inviting people over for a cookout...after I made us dinner.
~5 fruits and veggies - Done.
~30 minutes fitness - 45 minutes cirtcuit strength training, 15 minutes elliptical, 2 miles bike ride to coach practice, 4 hours walking around zoo at field trip.
~ Me time - 10 minutes in sauna stretching and relaxing
~Eat within calorie range? Hah...I wish. I screwed up big time on that, got some great fitness in though and I am good with that....I just need to make up for the excess food today.

Alright, so I did great with everything yesterday, until hubby came home with a surprise cookout planned after I cooked dinner...so friends came over and brought lots of crap like chips, dips, pasta salads, and beer. Didn't drink anything, but sure did snack on chips and stuff. I did munch on a lot of veggies too bc I had to make sure it was out there.

So, today ....the plan:
6:30 - Breakfast burrito and milk for breakfast
9:30 - Apple and cheese crackers snack (1 serving fruit)
11:15 - 3 oz chicken breast, 1.5 c. raw mixed veggies with hummus, 1 c. strawberries with plain yogurt (3 servings of veggies and fruits)
3:00 - clementines (1 serving fruit)
5:00 - Tofu noodles with organic tomato and meat sauce with artichokes as veggies (2 servings veggies)
6:00 - Gym for a 3 mile run, hour on elliptical, and whatever else I feel like doing as well as 10 minutes in sauna.
8:30 - protein drink and shower time
9:00 bed time.

This plan puts me at 7 servings fruits and veggies, 1.5 hours fitness, 10 minutes me time, and within calorie range.

I am so crabby today...part has to do with the fact that I stayed up too late and was already exhausted from zoo field trip and coaching...then today I got to school and had to send a student home for the third time with head lice. Now I have to check my entire class for it...Bleh! I have been itchy all day and I'm sleepy and its rainy, LOL. I sound like a Negative Nancy, but I am just crabby. I promise, I really am not a negative person.
I really am proud of my fitness accomplishments, I just have to learn to master my nutrition. I know what to do, I just have to implement it.

    Oh man, I would be so mad if I had to check 20 heads for lice. I'd send them all to the school nurse!

    I didn't even know tofu noodles existed. That's brilliant! I'm really trying to increase my protein during our challenge so I bought a big block of tofu at the market tonight, and now we'll see how many meals I can add it to....

    Anyway, I hope you have a better day today. I'm glad you can vent to us! emoticon
