Oh how they grow up so fast......

Hello everyone..been a long week and everyone seems busy with clean up and repairs still. At our house we have been busy with SAFE donations, they are coming in 6-8 boxes a day! My sweet niece decided to make "baby boxes" after getting two boxes of baby blankets. She added blankets, animals, bottles and books to deliver to the parents of small children when they move into their new homes. What a beautiful, smart and giving 11 year old! I've delivered so many animals the last 2 weeks that I'm seeing teddy bears in my sleep. But they are still overtaking our house! Taking 4 huge boxes to a group in Columbiana tomorrow to hand out at an upcoming free event for the torando victims..I'm actually be glad when they are gone!

Well on a personal note....I decided to go on about my business and not let the recent breakup if you will bother me or hold me back. I had a date last night with a sweet fireman from Birmingham area. We have been talking for awhile, longer than the last one even and I finally gave in and went out with him. Guess it went well, we're going hiking at Cheaha(?) this weekend. He's not as outdoorsy as me, but willing to go with me...lol

Even with all the good news today is a sad day for me. My 6 year old nephew that I lives with me and I have raised as my own graduates kindergarten tonight...KINDERGARTEN! Makes me wanna cry just thinking about it. Oh how I want him to be a baby again. My 11 year old niece that lives with me as well graduates 5th grade tomorrow night, in cap and gown.. She's going to junior high next year! They grow up so fast. All I can do is love every minute I have with them.

Well guess thats about all the news I can stand to share this morning. Its hard to write through tears thinking about my babies growning up! I'll be back probably on Tuesday, have a busy weekend ahead. Many hugs to you and yours :)
