FIRST CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR HONEY TO DETERMINE IF THERE IS A MEDICAL ISSUE AS TO WHY YOU'RE NOT LOSING THE WEIGHT. YOUR DOCTOR CAN MOST OF THE TIME DETERMINE AS WELL IF WHAT WORKOUT / WEIGHTLOSS PROGRAM YOU ARE DOING IS RIGHT FOR YOU AT YOUR CURRENT FITTNESS AND HEALTH LEVEL. FOLLOW YOUR DOCTORS SUGGESTIONS AND WORK CLOSELY TOGETHER WITH HIM/HER TO COME UP WITH A COMPREHENSIVE ALL ENCOMPASSING WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAM THAT'S RIGHT AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THAT'S SAFE FOR YOU FROM START TO FINISH.
IN ADDITON, AT THIS POINT IF YOUR DOCTOR DETERMINES THAT THERE IS NO MEDICAL REASON WHY YOU'RE NOT LOSING WEIGHT ON YOUR PRESENT WEIGHT LOSS AND SHAPE UP PROGRAM, THEN YOU NOW KNOW THE REASON YOU HAVEN'T LOST ALL ALONG...

1. 'DO THE WHOLE PROGRAM / PLAN' Make sure you follow the weightloss / fitness program you want to do EXACTLY as its designed. Do not edit it in any way unless there are provisions or instructions to do so.
2. 'DONT SUGAR COAT' Often my girlfriends get mad at me because I call s _ _ t like I see it honey. I don't pull no punches gurl whether its in my private life or in dealin with this weightloss thing. The moment that you start to lie to yourself girl and "don't make it as bad as it seem" , you FAIL! Its literally like turning down a dead end road and not bein able to change directions until its way too late. And honey once you begin that flawed journey you most likely ain't commin back to SUCCESS no time soon!
3. 'YOU KNOW WHEN YOU MESSIN UP HONEY' Self explanitory girl, I'm sure you get the idea wit this one boo sooooooo DON'T EVEN GO THERE GURL N IF U DO WORK QUICKLY TO CHANGE YOUR BAD HABBIT AND GET BACK ON THE WAGON!
4. 'BE BRUTALLY HONEST' or (FEAR NO SCALE) Lastly, don't ever be afraid of measuring the degree of either your WEIGHTLOSS SUCCESS or your WEIGHTLOSS FAILURE. Girl the SCALE, TAPE MEASURE, HEART RATE MONITOR, STEP COUNTER and whatever informative indicater that they in tha future are gonna invent IS THERE LIKE A MIRROR TO GIVE YOU THE ACCURATE PICTURE OF ALL YOUR HARD, SWEAT DRENCHING WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS to date. Use this oh sooooo valuable information to study your progress and to maybe consider possibly modifying or editing your program. Or even further still you and your doctor might with the consideration of the data collected, decide to try ANOTHER WEIGHT LOSS APPROACH ENTIRELY. All this evaluation, if not done in the beginning and if not done accurately all along the way (whether the results were GOOD or BAD) would simply be useless and ULTIMATELY WOULD NOT HELP YOU LOSE THE FAT - FURTHER SETTING ALL YOUR WEIGHT LOSS EFFORTS BACK!

I know exactly how you feel. I've only been back with SparkPeople for about 9 days, but I have also already blogged about how frustrated I am. i am also doing cardio everyday at least for 30 mins. I know it gets better though. I've watched those shows like Thintervention on Bravo and see the frustrations and transformations that people have had and know that we can overcome as well. 3533 days ago
Hey girl, I've gotten to that point as well which is why i fell off the wagon a while ago. But just remember that you are still making yourself healthy even if the scale doesn't want to show it. :) I'm getting back into working out, the eating part will take me a while though. 3538 days ago
DON'T GIVE UP! It will break loose but you gotta be more stubborn. Keep going, keep trying, keep on keeping on. Everyone hits a plateau. They keep going and eventually break that plateau. For different ppl what breaks it is different. Try drinking more water or change up your routine. If you don't have a regular day off from exercise then take one. Just some ideas. 3538 days ago
