I knew it was a matter of time, patience and perseverence. But this morning on my dad's professional doctor's office-style scale I weighed in at 199.5!!!! This was a WOOOOHOOOO moment for me! I have hovered between 200 and 203 for months, but today I finally broke the 200 barrier. I am working fulltime 3-11 at Gracedale Nursing Home. I knew once I was working and moving and not sitting at the computer playing games all day I would push past the block. So not only is the scale moving down but my energy levels are moving up and the motivation is in high gear to keep going. My point is, never give up! Not on yourself or your dreams. I was out of work for over 2 years. I am now working and will be taking my state certification test on June 20th. I'm nervous but I had great training and work in a great facility. I have set a 20 year plan as well. I figure by then the retirement age will be 70, so in 20 years I will be 72. This is a goal. I know at the rate I'm going I will be healthy enough to reach it, as I wasn't this healthy when I left this profession in 1999. Believe in yourself and anything is possible!!! Have a great week all!!!!!!!
