Well, I made it home last night at 7 pm. It wasn't as bad going through the construction zone as going down. It was dry and a grader had smoothed out the road. I was able to actually go the posted 35 mph. It was 13 miles and went by rather fast on the way home!! I stopped in Laurel, about 10 miles from Billings, and ate at Subway. It was tasty...I was so hungry!! I was glad I stopped! Not much in the refridge!! I want to get a bountiful basket this week and pick it up on Saturday. I have no fruits or vegetables...fresh I mean. I have canned...I really want some fresh ones.
I fell asleep in my recliner and got about 3 hours of sleep before writing this and will go to bed soon and sleep another 8...I hope!! I got caught up on putting into the nutrition tracker all the food from the last 3 days. Now I just need to print them. It will be our 16 week of DPP this week. After Tuesday we will meet monthly for 6 months.
I did pretty well over the weekend on my food intake. I think I went over on my fat grams...I can't remember right now...but I was under on my calories. It is because I ate ground beef and not my usual ground turkey. Well, I needed the protein and that is what was there.
I had the best time in Greybull!! I am so glad I went down! Ashley gave me a flower at graduation...when she gave the rest of her family flowers. I was surprised!! I thought that was really nice of her! I wasn't expecting it. The whole graduating class gets as many flowers as they want and then they pass them out to family in the audience. I hadn't seen that done before at a graduation ceremony. Guess I haven't been to a small school graduation in a long time. Anyway, I thought it was a nice tradition!!
Snickers sure did miss me!! I haven't slept at home since Thursday night. He was rubbing against me and wanted me to rub his belly. It is nice to know I am loved!! It is sure nice to have a pet to come home to each day or after a trip!!
It is just four days until my friend has her total shoulder replacement surgery. She is getting nervous!! She just had the left one done last September. This will probably be much harder as she is right handed. I will help her out as much as I can. I am right next door so all she has to do is give me a call. I am glad to be able to help her!! We have become such good friends!! It is great to have someone in the building to watch my cat when I housesit...or to have dinner with so it is not so lonely!!
Well, I am going to go to bed for the night. I am not setting an alarm...I will wake up naturally tomorrow morning. I like to do that sometimes. I have to go to the library and I have an appt. at 3 pm and I am going to water aerobics at 1 pm. Woo Hoo!!! It will feel so good!!
Have a great day...or night...which ever it might be!!
