Thank you for all your kind words

Hi, Im Willlow's sister and I just want you all to know how much your kind thoughts and prayers for our family has meant to Russ and myself. I knew that she blogged but being a working mother I have never had the time to read any of her blogs and reading them has really made me laugh and cry . It helps me feel her presence still. I miss her voice and talking with her, but reading her blogs gives me inspiration as well, taking lessons for my own life. She faced alot of hardship and disability but great was her faithfulness to the Lord that is so evident in her blogs. Reading them have given me peace. Blessing to all of the friends that she has made over the years here. It's nice to know that her family is not alone in thier sorrow of her passing. I loved her very much and tried to help them as much as we could. Russell and I are kind of leaning on each other right now to get through each day. Again Thanks for caring and keeping us in your prayers.

    When the butterflies came out at Dow Gardens here in Michigan last week, guess who I thought of? My daughter and I, both sparkers, both loved Willow/ I know sh is so happy, lighthearted and free to enjoy her new life..

    i was so sorry to hear that willow has left us. i was very worried when we did not hear from her for such a long time. she was an inspiration to so many of us. even through all her trials she still found it in her heart to encourage us. i will miss her greatly and my heart goes out to you and your whole family.

    Im so sorry I wrote to willow all the time she was a very special lady and had a place in my heart .I wonderd where she was,I had her phone number but didnt call ,I wish I had,But sometimes thats what happens ,wait till its to late,My paryers goes out to her dear husband and all of her family.

    I am glad that you have had a chance to understand why your sister was so special to so many of us. I am Holly from California and I have talked with Willow by phone and now keep in touch with Russ,There are no words to express my grieving the loss of your sister.She was a very special person and had a wonderful heart and spirit.Those who got to know her and read her blogs are better for knowing her.She will always be in my thoughts and prayers.

    I have been away for a cople of weeks and just found out. I am so sorry to find that she has passed. She has been the highlight of my day lots of times. I ALWAYS looked forward to getting on line and seeing what she had to say. Such a sad day for us. I will miss her.

    I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed reading all of Willow's blog and laughing at her jokes. She will be greatly missed here on Spark.

    I loved that girl! Her graphics, songs, positive stories, the sharing of her life with all its struggles and pain...yet she kept her light shining...like a beacon on a hill.     Thank you so much for sharing with us. You know we make these friendships on Spark and really become one big family. When I read the update this morning I could not believe my eyes. I'm still fighting the tears. Susan was such a beautiful person. She faced so many challenges, I know she is pain free and soaring with wings spread as wide.

    Dear Believe-it and Graceisenuf: Thanks so much for "dancing with the Angels" it fits perfect for her memorial service on Saturday, we will try to get the music also, Grace, I hope you don't mind but I'm going to use your eloquent words that you shared yesterday at the service so her family and friends can see how much she impacted others with her talent and love for the Lord.     I am humbled by not only Susan the human, but Susan the angel, and her wonderful family. Since we always did belong to our Creator, when our lease here is up, it is so painful for those who do not believe where they came from and where they will return. Your family has it smack-dab on!!

    Maybe you can picture her as one of her graphic angels she has here,, because she sure loved them.. this is a special place; earthly, but special,, we all guard and guide each other, we are all an extended family, warts and all..
    If you read others pages, you will see there are nothing but upbeat and helpful ideas, no negative thinking, so Susan is our ace in the hole!! A prime example of that cool family member who everybody invited to their home, called to get a laugh or idea..

    I am soooo sorry for your loss. I really miss her, too. Even though I never got to meet her in person, I felt like she was a really good friend. Besides wanting and needing to lose weight, we also had the love of critters (dogs, cats, etc.) in common. Kind of a special bond.
    It's good that you and Russ have each other to lean on. I'm sure Susan is smiling on you and him, now that her painful ordeal is past. She was very, very special to many many many people.

    Your sister was such a great Sparkfriend and inspiration. Throughout all of her struggles she never complained, but rather told of the situation and how she/they were making it through. I absolutely loved that about her. May her blogs give each of you ongoing comfort and connection.

    I am so grateful that you and Russ have decided to keepSusan's page open. I'm also glad that you have had the opportunity to read some of her blogs. You have allowed us to come to some closure. When I first met her, she hadjust lost an on-line friend whom she had never met, except through imagination. She was saddened that she had no outlet, no closure, no way to deal with her loss.
