I just feel like blogging...

Tuesday, May 24, 2011

Today is a good day. I have breath, health, and a joy in my heart. I'm happy because this is a day that wasn't promised to me. When I went to sleep last night, there was a possiblity that I wouldn't wake up. But I thank God for one more day.

So, what am I doing with this day that wasn't promised?

Well, first I am rejoicing because it's the day the Lord has made.

Second, I'm committed to encouraging at least 3 people today.

Third, I am committed to getting a good bible study in. Any suggestions?

Fourth, I am committed to having quiet prayer throughout my day.

Fifth, I am making my workout a priority-3:30 baby! (Jumpstart- I rode my bike to work today :))

Sixth, I will start an assignment that is due on Friday (friends, this is good as I am a recovering procrastinator).

What are some important things you want to do today? Both natural and spiritual?

Thank you for reminding us to Thank God for each new day and to make the most of it.

Each day I thank God for my life, my new day and my family and friends. I pray for those less fortunate, and in need. I strive to do an act of kindness, to inspire and motivate my teams and friends here at Spark People.

I keep it real, and by that I mean I am honest and mindful of my words and actions.

I plan my day, my meals, and fitness time and make my health a priority, as well as supply my family with wholesome goodness as well. Setting good examples for my pre-teen daughter and always keeping communication open and being there whenever and however she needs me.

I fill my mind with positive thoughts and don't allow myself to get caught up in the drama that is negative and exhausting. It waste too much precious time and is senseless. I am thankful that is in the past and remains there.

Thank you for this opportunity to celebrate who we are and what we find to be our greatest of blessings, God, Family, & Friends. They are the riches of Life., and gives meaning to who we are.

Well you've encouraged me with your blog so you can check at least one person off #2 emoticon

I have made this week a week of consistency and that includes, reading my bible on the way to work (train) and on the way home, to stay away from negative people and gossip at work, to focus solely on the work on my desk and not socializing (uggghhh they show up at my office door) and to walk and lift this afternoon.
