I had my assessment for my Diabetes Prevention Program today. I had great news!! I am down 37 pounds and I have lost a total of 10 inches!!
I was so excited!!
I joined two new teams today. Looking forward to corresponding with others on those teams. I am so excited to be branching out on Spark People!!
I need to thank everyone who has encouraged me through this journey!! I have been so inspired and helped by my friends on Spark People!!
I got 8 hours of sleep again last night. It sure feels good to be rested!!
I think I went over on my calories and carbs today. It is that tom and I just want carbs!! With carbs come calories...well, at least I don't feel like this every day of the month!! I will put my food in the tracker, but not right now. I may do it tomorrow. I don't feel like being on the computer much tonight. I volunteered today and was on the computer for several hours. It is too hard on my neck and shoulder muscles...they are having trouble as it is! I am still debating the trigger point injections. Not sure if I am going to go with that. I know a doctor at my church and I am going to call him tomorrow and talk to him. I want his opinion.
I am not doing anything tomorrow except maybe some exercise with the Wii or the walking DVD I got from my DPP class. Our DPP Coach had them to give away...and since I don't do well walking outside...I thought I would give walking indoor a try again. Maybe I won't get shin splints inside. Anyway, I won't be going to the Y the rest of the week, so will exercise at home.
I ordered a bountiful basket today. It is half fruit and half vegetables. I will split it with my neighbor as I am not able to eat that much produce before it spoils. Anyway, it is grown as close to here as they can get it. I had to pick a different site, because the 19th and Broadwater site was sold out. If you haven't tried it yet...go to bountifulbaskets.org and check it out!! They deliver on Saturdays...and have it in many states now. It is a Co-op and low priced. It is not a business...and volunteers help unload the truck...and get extra produce and other items. I am unable to lift much, so I don't volunteer...but I enjoy the produce I bring home!!
Well, it is late and I need to start to relax before bed. Have a great night and I will be back tomorrow to be healthy all over again!!
