Tornados in Massachusetts.....Re
ally???

What a crazy day today has been. Around 2PM - the Nat'l Weather Service put out tornado watches for basically the state of MA.....around 4PM some of MA started to have watches turn into warnings, and then bam...tornado sightings.....my area turned to warning about 6PM and for the first time ever, my TV did that "Emergency Alert" thing for real...you know the thing that interupts the most important part of whatever you are watching....this warning was to go until 7:30 or so....

We blazed through two cells of storms....the lightning was so close you could hear it crackle....it was pretty -but scary. We were lucky - no twisters set down....

Now....the sky is bright, and the sun seems to be poking through for one last moment....

It really did ruin the evening plans though..tonight my 9 yr. old had a bball game about 1.5 miles away - so I was going to run to it and run home, so I could get in a national running day run.....but alas - plans foiled.

Although right this second...it's looking pretty good, and I've got enough light out to make it out and back....hhmmm.....

**** 20 minutes later**** - nope - no run....3rd wave coming in 40 minutes...don't want to get caught out there.
