Yeah for being back at it...

I've never really thought about it - but an exercising me is a happy me....a non exercising me is a me that eats the wrong things and is kind of cranky.....don't want to admit it - but it's true.

Today I have done my Quickfire, Bootcamp X 3 and got my run in - 3 miles....

I am enjoying the Galloway method a lot. I did the 3 miles with 4 / 1 intervals for the first 2.5 miles....the last 1/2 mile was a 3 / 1 interval....tough hill at that point and it killed me. Doesn't help that I am out running at 12:00 .....right smack dab in the middle of the hottest part of the day. I also had a head wind the entire run. I don't know how that is possible, but it blew at me the whole time - at some points I thought I was going to just stop going forward.

So I have managed 6 miles for this week, which is 6 more than the last 2 months combined. Now to just figure out how to be able to 6.2 miles in under 1 hour and 15 minutes in less than a month.....going to keep with my interval of 4/1 and try and add another mile next week for 4, and see how that feels. I think I should survive. I know it is always good to have the race distance under your belt before the race, but I think that for this one- I am working towards that day - and I will build on that.....don't think I can handle an 8 or 9 mile in such a short time....

I have stayed within my food ranges too...and on the middle to lower end of my calores.

My Go Wear Fit says I have had at least a 700 calorie deficit each day, so 700 X 7 is 4900, so that's about 1.5 pounds for the week....we'll see.....but not until Monday....or I might wait until Thursday which is weigh in day for TBL challenge....
