My Bucket List

"Far away in the sunshine are my highest aspirations. I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and try to follow where they lead." - Louisa May Alcott, author
This was the SparkPeople Healthy Reflection for Monday, June 20th.
This is kind of like my "Bucket List": my highest aspirations. And I may not cross them all off my list, but I can sure try.
When I started thinking of what would be on my Bucket List, I couldn't think of anything. That was a real disappointment. Without goals, why would anyone get out of bed in the morning?
So, I thought hard and came up with a few entries:
I'd love to see my six grandchildren graduate high school and maybe even college (the youngest is four and I'm 66).
I'd love never to be alone again. Been there (twice). Don't like it. If I am, and I'm still able to take care of myself, I'd like to move into the Senior Housing complex down the road. I've toured it. It's lovely.
I'd love to take another cruise. I've taken six, but my cruising partner is sick and can no longer work. She's applied for disability, but hasn't gotten it yet, so money is tight now.
I'd love to learn to be patient. Anxiety is part of fibromyalgia and I have trouble doing one thing to the end. My mind keeps skipping to other things and I follow it, afraid if I don't, I'll forget it.
I'd love to read all the books on my "to-be-read" book list. But since it grows daily, I will be happy to just be able to keep reading.
What's on your Bucket List?
